La Soldier incorporates elements from various Sailor Moon mediums including the 90s anime, the manga, Crystal/Eternal/Cosmos, Sera Myu, movies, video games, doujinshi/fan series, and PGSM.
La Soldier is a departure from the classic Sailor Moon story…
In La Soldier, you will see a departure from the familiar places and characters we’re used to seeing in the various incarnations of the original story.
Once such change is the location! While the original story normally takes place is Tokyo, Japan, the story of La Soldier will take place in Paris, France!
You will also see a difference in the character’s ages, demographics, and occupations. These characters will be portrayed as young adults whose lives are irrevocably changed when they realize their past lives and powers.
These changes allow the story and the character to take a new and inventive approach while still staying true to the essence of their original counterparts.
For example, while some characters are wholly the same (i.e. Sailor Neptune is a famous violinist) some characters are unique in their own right (i.e. Sailor Moon is not clumsy and ditzy but is an accomplished ballerina dancer with the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet).
